Mythical Whimsies

A myth is a story—a mysterious tale of humans, supernatural entities, and, of course, creatures. In mythology, animals are strange and wondrous. Some appear in myth as helpers of man while others are tricksters. Birds, for example, function as celestial messengers and as molders of men’s souls. Mythology and Jay Rotberg’s “doodles” come together in this attractive, bright, and fun collection.

The animals are all based on various mythical animals found in numerous ancient cultures. Each animal has a soul, depicted by two interlocking infinity signs designed in a shape of a flower.

Each sculpture is signed and includes a brief description of the animal’s mythological beginnings. There are limited quantities of these sculptures. Some come with a base. Those listed with “no base” come with a string for hanging.

All Mythical Whimsies are $20.00 with free shipping.
